Jessica Boyd was born and raised in a small town in the Midwest. She currently resides with her husband and children in Primrose, Nebraska. Jessica attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where she received her degree in Elementary Education in 1999. Upon graduation, Jessica taught preschool for three years. She then spent five years teaching sixth-grade reading in a middle school setting and then math in the same middle school for four years. Jessica is in her ninth year teaching middle school math, reading, and writing in a private school.

Jessica’s 25 years of classroom experience has molded her into the teacher she is today. Her philosophy of teaching and learning is that every child is unique and possesses distinctive ways of learning. This diversity in learning styles is crucial to recognizing and accommodating how children learn in educational settings. Educators need to acknowledge and understand these differences to create a more inclusive learning environment. Jessica’s goal is to provide individualized instruction to meet the educational needs of every child while also developing a love of learning.
