Founder of Extra Mile Tutoring

Teaching has always been Deena’s calling, and in 2018, she founded Extra Mile Tutoring to meet students’ needs through personalized, one-on-one instruction. Drawing from her experience as an elementary school teacher, she discovered how small group and individualized learning environments empower students to overcome challenges, build confidence, and unlock their full potential. Deena believes in crafting creative, engaging lessons tailored to each child’s learning style, nurturing not only academic growth but also a love for learning.

Under Deena’s leadership, Extra Mile Tutoring has grown into a team of passionate, highly qualified educators who share her vision: to provide students with the tools they need to succeed and foster lifelong curiosity. With every session, Deena and her team go the extra mile—ensuring that each student receives the care, guidance, and encouragement needed to thrive inside and beyond the classroom.

Meet Mallory

Operations Manager at Extra Mile Tutoring

Mallory Jones, Operations Manager at Extra Mile Tutoring, has been with the team since 2018, bringing her passion for education and experience as a former first-grade teacher. A University of Georgia graduate with a degree in Early Childhood Education, Mallory believes that personalized, engaging instruction empowers students to take risks, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. She ensures that Extra Mile Tutoring stays true to its mission of providing individualized support that addresses each learner’s unique needs, fostering both academic success and a love for learning. Whether managing operations or tutoring Pre-K through 5th-grade students, Mallory is committed to creating positive learning experiences that help students thrive inside and beyond the classroom. She lives in Watkinsville, GA, with her husband, son Cooper, and a proud “GO DAWGS!” spirit.
