Kera grew up in Decatur, Georgia. Kera has 8 years of teaching experience in Pre-K, second, and third grades. Kera graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2008 from Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia. She earned her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Mercer in Atlanta in 2020. Kera received her Gifted Education certification in 2022. She currently teaches third grade and resides in Decatur with her fur baby Tito.

Kera loves to make learning experiences fun and engaging. She uses many hands-on techniques to ensure that her students are both learning and having fun while doing so. She loves building relationships with her students so that her students know they are safe and loved. Kera goes the extra mile to make sure that her students’ needs are met and they are thriving and successful.

Kera has been with Extra Mile Tutoring since 2024.
