Ms. Laura Ann Harrell is so excited to join Extra Mile Tutoring! Laura Ann is wrapping up her sixth year as a classroom teacher, teaching middle school Language Arts. She is very excited to join the team at Extra Mile Tutoring and to help individual students achieve their learning goals.

In her work as a teacher, Laura Ann especially enjoys getting to know her students’ interests
and passions and using that knowledge to personalize her instruction. She loves to witness the pride a student feels when they conquer a subject or concept that they didn’t think they could understand. Laura Ann is certified to teach English for students in grades 6th through 12th but also enjoys teaching elementary-aged students as well.

She has a Bachelors degree in English and Spanish from Mercer University and a Masters degree in English Education from the University of Georgia. In her spare time, Laura Ann enjoys going to concerts, going to the farmer’s market, and spending time with her dog Tucker.

Laura Ann has been with Extra Mile Tutoring since 2025.
